...is not afraid to do manly things like using power tools and climbing trees and backpacking? Because I like to do all those things, and I was just talking on Myspace to the guy I like and he seemed to think it's weird that I like to climb trees ("climbing trees??" he said). I also can be girly and dress up if the occasion calls for it (I've even been a model) but I think it's fun to do things most girls wouldn't do. Do guys prefer girly girls? FYI: I'm 14.

just be yourself you shouldnt have to change for just any guy , ther is someone out ther that will love you just the way you are and enjoy the same hobbies.

You should do whatever you enjoy doing. You may not realize it now, but being able to find pleasure in the little things like climbing trees is a great quality to have. If a guy cannot appreciate these qualities then you shouldn't change for him. You will eventually find someone who likes doing those things as well!

it's hot when a girl can do manly things and isn't prissy and always worried about breaking a nail. still, be sure to dress in a girly way and not *act* like a guy. don't burp and fart in front of people, don't wear sneakers all the time, etc.

No there is nothing wrong with being yourself. And what guy wouldn't like a girl that can handle tools the right way. (lol not meant in a sexual way) Do what you enjoy not what others tell you to enjoy.

it really depends on the guy.

does your guy know that you can be beautiful but that you are not some frail little thing who cannot take care of herself? if he has a problem with it then that is his problem. talk to him about it. explain to him that you can be girly and you will wear dress and have modeled.

it is awesome that you like to break the mold of what girls do and do things most girls would not do. do not sacrifice who you are or change who you are for some guy. a great boyfriend would love you for who you are and appreciate the unique things that make you different from any other girl.
